Wallet Limits

Brillion Wallet provides users with the ability to set up transfer limits for your smart wallet. You can configure these limits based on specific tokens, their types, or their amounts.

Additionally, you can configure who is authorized to spend from your wallet, either the user or a smart contract. This feature allows you to manage the gas fees associated with the transaction and ensures that you remain in control of your assets.

Finally, the Wallet Limits feature allows you to specify rules for approvals. You can set the number of confirmations required for each transaction, and define which confirmations are needed. This feature provides an additional layer of security for your transactions, giving you peace of mind when managing your digital assets.

Setting Wallet Limits

To access, navigate to your profile, click on wallet, and then Limits & Approvals.

To add limits, click on the "Add new" button.

Step 1: Specify the spender.

You have two options to choose from:

  • User: Select this option if you will be the spender.
  • Smart Contract: Choose this option if you plan to use an app for spending.

Step 2: Token & Amount

  1. Select the token that you want to limit the spending of.
  2. Choose the amount that can be spent, and select whether it's a single transaction or a cumulative amount.
  3. If you choose cumulative, set a time period for the limit to apply.
  4. Once you're done, click "Next". Make sure to check the "Transactions should be approved" box.
  5. If you're happy with your selections, click "Confirm" to set up the spending limit.

Step 3: Approvals

To proceed with the transaction, select the number of confirmations required:

  1. Choose from existing presets or manually select the required credentials.
  2. Add more credentials if needed.
  3. Click "Next" once you're done.

You also have the option to add an authenticator for an extra layer of security. However, you can choose to skip this step if you don't need or want an authenticator.

Please wait for the app to finish processing, and your new Wallet Limit will be created.
